Education for Changing Lives!
Rutland Vermont Adult Learning (RVAL), a member of Learning Works is an educational system assuring that every Vermonter has access to opportunities for educational, career, and self advancement. We provide education in small group settings to adults 16 years and older who haven't finished high school and/or who want to improve their skills in reading, writing and math to be successful in their jobs. We also offer classes to help students prepare for college. Technology training and career ready skills are an integrated part of our program. Most services are at no cost to students.
We provide three pathways to earn a high school credential:
1. Vermont Adult Diploma Program (VADP), ages 20 and older
2. High School Completion Program (HSCP), ages 16-21
3. GED-General Educational Development
Vermont Adult Learning also offers classes to those interested in achieving American Citizenship.
Our services focus primarily on Rutland County adults; however, we also welcome students from bordering states for the GED tests and Fee For Service computer classes.
Vermont Adult Learning is a non-profit organization welcoming donations and contributions.
